Admission FAQ

  • 1 I have no experience in foreign countries, so can I take classes?

Through the level test, we identify the level of students and conduct English classes by level through ESL courses. The adjustment period is shorter for the lower grades of elementary school. The upper grades of elementary school are organized into ESL classes, and middle school and above are required to supplement their skills through after-school ESL classes. If necessary, they can join the BCS students exchange program.

  • 2 Is it possible to transfer during the semester?

The regular admission period of our school is the September and March semesters, and if there is a vacancy in each grade, admission is possible at any time. Entrance is available on the 1st and 15th of every month. However, if the quota is full, admission will be postponed until the next semester.

  • 3 I want to know about the cafeteria for the students.

Students and staff can use the cafeteria provided free of charge.
The menu is guided through the home newsletter every week.
Basically, chemical condiments are not used. Boarding students are provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and most of the commuting students are provided with lunch except for special activities

  • 4 Is there a residence hall?

There is a mission Hall (student dormitory). The male and female residence are divided. Distant students are first assigned and they must maintain a good attitude

  • 5 Does it run school buses ?

Yes, we have a school bus. There are Songdo, Gangseo and Yangcheon routes and applications can be made through the website.
The route can be changed depending on the situation.

  • 6 I want to know about the school's accreditation and the Korea GED.

As you know, we use the Christian curriculum from US and most of our students admit to American universities.
We are accredited and have been selected as the best educational institution by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools), which is an authoritative international school certification institution in 60 countries around the world.
In addition, education is conducted in connection with various educational institutions in the United States, and excellent studies and education in prestigious Christian and private schools in the United States are maintained.
All classes are taught in English , so you have to take the Korea GED if you wish to enroll in Korean universities.
Our school does not focus on the Korean GED and does not recommend it because our goal is to train students as international Christian leaders.
However, if you wish to take the qualification exam, the academic level of our curriculum is high enough to pass the qualification exam with ease.
Rather, because it is recognized as an academic background in the US, we are preparing our students for ACT or SAT, National Test and AP Test.
Currently, one of our campuses in the US, BCS( Belleville Christian School), is fully accredited by COGNIA, so all graduates can have double certificates of graduation from BCS.

  • 7 What are the requirements for admission?

It depends on the grade, but a candidate must be a child of a faithful Christian family who has clear biblical standards.Enrollment will be decided through consultation with the admission committee, which will be held after the Admissions Seminar every Monday. After that, the final admission will be decided through the documents screening process. If a student lacks he/she lack English skills, you can take an ESL course. Elementary students can enter even if they lack English skills, but 8th grade students(2nd year of Korean middle school) or higher must have basic English skills.
